You mocked the idea of keeping Reeves to calm to markets as self evidently absurd, but that just shows you’ve spent too much time reading the ever back scratching UK opinion pages and not even time reading the actual news or watching the actual markets
Now I’m not happy about this, in fact I want Reeves gone to, but the markets, including this week on the very event you made your goalkeeper comment about we saw the markets jitter at the news number 10 was taking back power from the chancellor and then calm again with rates decreasing when number 10 made it clear Reeves was safe
Frankly I come to you pod hoping for more Sophisticated takes than those I can get on the Telegraph opinion page, if you’re just gonna run with lazy self satisfied conventional wisdom of the always wrong British political opinion writing class I can get that elsewhere from people that others have actually heard of
